Help Beau Blu get the surgery he needs

Hi, I’m starting this fund for my friend, Theresa. Here is her story in her own words:
I have started a GoFundMe to raise money for my dog Beau Blu.
He has a Mast cell tumor (MCT) on his chest and one under his leg. He has already had an ultrasound and blood work up, and I am so grateful the cancer did not spread to any of his organs or lymph nodes.
On July 2, 2024 he had his wellness checkup and that’s when we discovered the MCT, and his bloodwork showed a low platelet count. My primary vet recommended a needle biopsy and then suggested I take him to a Cancer specialist. He will have to have the 2 masses removed once he is cleared for surgery.
Mr. Beau Blu is an 8-year-old Golden Retriever who I rescued (he was born with no toes on his right paw) and is my emotional support dog and supports a friend of mine. Prior to Covid he was in training to be a therapy dog. We would go to nursing homes to give a little joy to the residents.
In February 2022, I fell ill and was diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis and Mitral Regurgitation, which required surgery-a mechanical heart valve for my aorta and a mitral Valve O ring. I decided to do rehab at home and was visited by numerous health care aids. Beau never left my side while I went through occupational and physically therapy to recover. Even today if I sneeze Beau Blu runs up to me to make sure I am ok. Beau has always been a very strong and healthy dog and he does not show any signs of being ill. He is currently taking Benadryl, Pepcid, and Doxycycline in case he has a tick disease that did not show up in his original blood work.
I have used up all my savings on his testing and now need to raise money to remove the 2 Mast cell tumors. I borrowed money to pay for some of the testing and estimate needing $8000 for testing, surgery and follow up. At this point I just want to give Beau Blu the long and happy life he deserves; any help is deeply appreciated.
