Hey all,

I’m moving back to my home country of Scotland! As much as I love my friends and community here, the USA right now (as I’m sure you’re either experiencing or are witnessing right now) is an absolute mess. And I think I’m very much ready to leave, for my quality of life, for my safety, and for new wonderful adventures back on home soil.

This all being said, it’s an expensive endeavour to move, even in your own city let alone internationally. And I have hit a roadblock when it comes to my two cats Harry and Beau. From extensive research it seems that transporting my cats with me while doing all the necessary hoops to jump through, is going to cost around $8,000-$10,000, and that’s on top of my own costs to move myself and my belongings ()

So I’m asking for some help. I am going to raise as much as I can for myself by selling art, selling my furniture I’m not taking, maybe even dipping into some rare collectibles I’ve acquired. But even then I don’t know if I can do it all myself.

I hate feeling like I’m panhandling, but I’ve started a GoFundMe to try and help with the cat costs. While I don’t expect to meet the goal, any amount will help lessen the burden at least a little.

So I humbly ask for support, and if you can’t afford to financially support, then please share! Sharing helps me a crap ton too! There is no pressure either way.
