We still can't believe it, but our Big Bear went home to heaven on Monday, June 28th 2021, to join his father Allyn Kubishke. He leaves behind his mother Tina Kubishke, sisters; Kim (Barney) Guethle & LuAnn (Shawn) Gillespie, Missy or "his bride" as he loved to call her ❤, his two bonus children, Kylie & Kellen Graham (Rachelle), his grandchildren Knox & Harlow Shintaku, family, countless friends, beloved co-workers & several "honorary" children. Anyone reading this knows Big Bear or Kurt was simply the best. They really broke the mold when they made the Bear...so genuine, tender hearted, humble, gentle, hilarious, and he always knew just what to say. He would give you his shirt off of his back & his shoulder to cry on, all the while reassuring you that it was all going to be okay. His absence has shocked and shattered the many hearts that loved him. As we all know, life can turn on a dime but the world continues going on around you. Sadly, the every day stresses of life do not disappear. Household bills are still due, debts still need to paid, and shared responsibilities now fall on the one left behind. All while trying to survive a TREMENDOUS loss. The most incredible attribute of the Bear was that he gave his whole heart...to everyone...always! He was so supportive and would do anything to help anyone that needed it. Missy, the ever gracious hostess, would never dream of asking for help. Fortunately, there is not one thing their children as well as their "honorary" children wouldn't do for them. Together we humbly ask for your added support to help his "Bride" of 25 years, as she faces his unexpected departure and sudden financial strain.
