He fought with courage and lived surrounded by love. Your kindness helps me take care of his final expenses and celebrate the beautiful soul he was.

Help Bear’s Family Cover His Emergency Care

My sweet Bear was hospitalized for internal bleeding. He’s now home resting comfortably, but his emergency care left us with a large bill I am struggling to cover.

Bear turned 12 years young on October 1st of this year. He’s gentle, goofy, relaxed, and happy — a true social butterfly who loves everyone he meets. He loves to eat (and to steal his cat brother T’Challa’s food when he thinks no one is watching). He fills my days with laughter, joy, and love.

A few months ago, Bear was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma, an aggressive cancer that appeared in the iris of his right eye. He bravely underwent treatment and finished chemotherapy on October 2nd. For a while, things were good — he was feeling well, eating, and playing again.

This past weekend, Bear started slowing down, but I thought it was his arthritis acting up. By Tuesday morning, he refused to eat — not even kitty food, which he usually can’t resist. I knew something was wrong and rushed him to the ER.

The ultrasound revealed lesions and internal bleeding, and he was treated with Yunnan baiyao to help control it. After careful thought and discussion with his doctors, I made the decision to bring Bear home, where he can be comfortable and surrounded by love. His eyes still light up when he sees me — I want him to have as many peaceful, happy moments as possible here at home.

The ER visit and treatment came with a large bill, and while I’ve managed to cover all his care up to this point, this sudden emergency has been more than I can manage on my own. I never imagined having to ask for help, but here I am — for Bear. He’s my sweet, brave boy, and I want to make every minute we have left together full of comfort, love, and peace. Any help toward his medical expenses would mean the world to us.

If you prefer to pay the veterinary hospital directly, please feel free to contact me for the clinic’s information. Transparency means everything to me, and every dollar will go directly toward Bear’s care.

I don’t know how much time Bear has left, but what I do know is that I want every moment to be filled with comfort and love. He is my sweet, brave boy—and if love could save him, he would live forever.
