Help Bear with his vet bills after being shot

Hi, my name is Bear. I’m only one year old, and until recently I was living my best life with my two brothers, playing, cuddling, and chasing toys. But something terrible happened. Someone shot me — not once, but several times — with an air gun.

It took me over a week to drag myself home, injured and terrified. By the time I reached my family, I had lost a lot of weight and was weak, but I never gave up. I missed my brothers and I wanted to be safe again.

Now I can’t walk properly. I have a big, painful wound on my back and metal bullets stuck dangerously close to my lungs and spine. My two brothers are waiting at home, missing me every day and not understanding why I’m not there to play with them anymore.

The vets say I need special surgery to:

• Close the large wound on my back

• Remove the bullets around my lungs and spine

• Give me the best chance of walking and living without pain

I’m trying to be brave. I still purr when people stroke me, and I’m fighting hard to get better. But my humans can’t afford all the treatment I need on their own.
