Bear, our beloved family dog, has always been a source of comfort and emotional support for myself and my daughters. Recently, Bear suffered an unexplained injury to his spine, resulting in paralysis of his back legs. He has lost all motor function and reflex, and will never be able to walk again without spinal surgery. Without this surgery, Bear’s quality of life will continue to decline. He cannot use the bathroom by himself and needs to be manually expressed every few hours to prevent internal damage. We’ve also been instructed to give him pain medication and steroids to help manage his pain, and he must be isolated from our other dog to create a safe space for recovery.

To give Bear the best chance at recovery, he will need an MRI to successfully locate the injury before surgery can be performed. The cost of both the MRI and surgery are more than we can manage on our own, and we just want to save our baby Bear’s life. The funds raised will go directly toward Bear’s MRI, spinal surgery, medications, and other necessary expenses to support his recovery. Every dollar will help us provide Bear with the care he needs to have a chance at a better life.

Bear means so much to our family, and the thought of him suffering is heartbreaking.
