Bear is our beloved German Shepherd, and he’s truly a member of our family. Our kids and all our animals mean the world to us, and Bear has always been right at the heart of it. We never imagined we’d be facing such a scary situation, but yesterday Bear suddenly developed brain swelling. We found him barely holding on, and rushed him to the Shenandoah Veterinary Associates emergency hospital. The team there worked with us on a payment plan, but the bill is overwhelming—especially when you’re just trying to do everything you can to save your pet.

Bear is now home, but his recovery is far from over. He’s on several medications and needs to be watched closely. We’re doing everything we can to keep him comfortable and safe, but the financial strain is real. We had to sign a promise to pay the vet within a few days, and we’re worried about what will happen if Bear needs more help in the future. We just want him healthy and back to his old self, surrounded by the family that loves him.
