Help Bear Keep Smoak BBQ Grill & Meatery Open
Donation protected
Hi there, I’m Robert—though most folks just call me Bear. I’m the owner, pitmaster, and storyteller behind Smoak BBQ Grill & Meatery. For the past two years, I’ve poured everything I have into this restaurant. It’s not just a business; it’s my passion. A place where I get to share my love of BBQ, experiment with unique flavors, and connect with the amazing people in my community.
Asking for help like this isn’t something that comes easy to me. I’ve been self-sufficient and worked hard my entire life to build what I have. But with rising food costs and the slower winter months, my weekly income has been cut to near nothing. The challenge of keeping up with rent, electricity, and other expenses has become overwhelming, and I’m reaching out for support to keep the doors open.
Your Contributions Won’t Be for Naught.
To show my appreciation, I want to give back to everyone who supports Smoak in this time of need. This isn't a donation, but an investment:
Name on the Wall: All investors, no matter the amount, will have their names added to a “Wall of Gratitude” displayed in the restaurant as a permanent reminder of the incredible support that kept this dream alive.
Gift Card Bonus: For every investment of $50 or more, you’ll receive a $25 gift card to use at Smoak or give as a gift.
Special Event Meal: For investments over $100, We’ll host an exclusive “Contributor’s Dinner Night” at Smoak. This will be a private, family-style meal with a unique menu I’ll craft just for the occasion—think brisket, ribs, and some of my signature fusion dishes, like smoked pork ramen or turkey with dressing.
The funds raised will go directly toward covering rent and utilities during this difficult season, helping us stay afloat until business picks back up in the spring.
Thank you for considering supporting Smoak. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. I’m so grateful for this community, and I’m excited to keep serving you the BBQ I love to create.
