I took my dog, Bear, to our local vet in town on 5/21/25. He needs testing done for his kidney, which we did We had a follow-up appointment with our local vet on Thursday to discuss what the next steps would be and they are sending us to a specialist.

my dog has cancer :(

i won’t know how much is needed until we see the specialist on June 3rd.

i am transitioning his old food into the new food and 6-8 weeks I will find out if the new kibble he is on at least is helping with the allergies.

update: I got the call from the oncologist yesterday afternoon and she said Cancer is primitive and immature in appearance they cannot definitively tell what type of cancer it is but have determined it is cancer.
