Bear has been by my side through every twist and major turn life has thrown at me. I bought him at a fundraiser for my best friend growing up, and named him after my friend's brother who passed away in a car accident. Bear just turned 8 years old and he still has so much energy. The amount of happiness and joy he bring me everyday can't be explained.

Bear has gone to the vet since he was a puppy to get his anal glands expressed. Almost a year ago, the vet found a mass that turned into a tumor and had to be surgically removed. Recently, another mass appeared and has spread to 2 of his lymph nodes in his abdomen, and a mass has recurred in his anal gland. His tumor is progressing very fast, and now Bear is scheduled for another surgery and chemotherapy.

All of this news has come so quickly, and this is Bear's second round of surgery. I am just hoping this will be the last time he has to go through this. All donations will go directly towards Bear's surgeries, chemotherapy, and vet visits.
