Help Beale’s Spa Reopen After Hurricane Melissa

My name is Karah Fequiere, and I live in New York. I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend Jacqueline Beale, the owner of Beale’s Spa Consulting & Services Limited, located in Jamaica.

Hurricane Melissa has forced Beale’s Spa to temporarily close. While we’re deeply grateful that everyone is safe and the building remains intact, severe storm damage, especially to surrounding power lines, has left the business without electricity, resources, or access to its space.

As a small, locally owned spa, this closure has put incredible strain on Jacqueline and her team of talented therapists and spa professionals. Many of them are facing lost income, home flooding, and personal displacement while the area recovers.

We’re raising funds to help Beale’s Spa and its staff get back on their feet. Specifically, the funds will be used to:

* Support the staff with lost income and relocation costs due to home flooding and other storm-related damages

* Cover essential business expenses including rent, utilities, and product loss during the closure

* Prepare for a quick reopening once power and access are restored

Every contribution, big or small, will directly support the spa’s recovery and help the team rebuild their livelihoods.
