Hello, I'm a trans woman living in London, Ontario. This past year I've had to deal with a shady at best rental company, and although we've finally moved past them and are working directly with the landlord- everyone in my house got slammed with a massive utility bill in May. Since despite our asking the rental company, they only billed us for utilities a handful of times out of the year we've been here. This has resulted in me now being responsible for an extra $327.94 due ASAP. Money I unfortunately do not have. I've recently been denied ODSP despite being chronically ill/disabled, and OW has also stopped responding to me. I have recently begun working part time out of survival, but it is only enough money to cover my necessities (rent + phone bill + food) etc. I am living paycheque to paycheque and have no way of coming up with an extra $330. As of writing this I have fallen very sick with the flu, and am unsure about work optics as functioning is extremely difficult. On top of this, I also need to look into getting another vial of estrogen as I am running out. Ontario will not cover it and due to health reasons I cannot take the typical HRT in pill form. Whatever money donated will first go directly to my utilities, and the rest will go towards making sure I have access to HRT/Food. $330 for my utilty bill and $330 for what I would have made working this week if I wasn't so ill. Any little bit helps. Thanks :)
