Hi, I am reaching out to everyone on behalf of the Macaluso family. Our Beatrice (Bea) Macaluso has gotten devastating news at the age of 33. Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) — an aggressive blood cancer that requires immediate treatment.
On November 11, 2025, Beatrice received lab results from Stamford Hospital confirming:
This means over 60% of her bone marrow is filled with cancer cells.
She needs chemotherapy within days, possibly a bone marrow transplant, and targeted drugs — all starting at over $500,000 without insurance.
Bea is a strong, funny, vivacious woman married to my brother Joe Macaluso. They have a beautiful boy together who is just 3 years old, Anthony Macaluso. He cannot grow up without a mother, and we refuse to let my brother lose his wife.
Bea is an athlete. She is beautiful. She is strong, but we need help.
How You Can Help
$25 = One bag of life-saving platelets
$100 = One night of IV antibiotics
$500 = One day in the leukemia ward
$1,000 = One dose of targeted therapy
Every dollar gets her closer to remission.
Even if you can’t donate, please share with:
- social media
- where you work
- friends and family
Every second counts, every dollar and effort to share counts.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you and ask for your prayers.
We will post updates as much as possible.
Fight with us. Be with us. We love you all.
