Hi, my name is Derek and I am looking for help with my baby boy, Baxter. He is a 9yr old Westie and is the bestest boy in the whole world. Last year he had 4 operations due to a snapped cruciate ligament in his back left leg. There were complications, but the 4th was a successful TPLO. The operations cost a total of £10,000. Insurance only covered £4,000. The extra £6,000 I had to take out loans for and has left me and Baxter minimum to get by on. But we were ok and happy.

Today his cruciate ligament in his back right leg snapped! Insurance won’t cover this and I am unable to get another loan. I tried my bank and other sources.

Baxter is my baby and has got me through many difficult times. He is my best friend and it hurts me to see him in pain and I can’t help.

If anyone could help me help Baxter, I would be forever grateful and pay it forward. I am a good person, but feel I have no other options.
