Help Bauer family in Hastings MN after house fire

My name is Grace Bauer, daughter/sister to the Bauer family whose house caught fire in Hampton, MN. I’ve set up this page for family, neighbors, friends and the community who have asked how they can help. Here is the KDWA report:

"At 3:25pm, Monday afternoon, Hastings Fire, Randolph/Hampton Fire, and many other area agencies were dispatched to the 5500th block of 210th Street East, in Vermillion, on the call of a structure fire. When Hastings Fire arrived, they found a working fire in the basement of the home, which then spread throughout the house. As other agencies arrived, a rotation began with firefighters, tankers, and other apparatuses moving in and out of the home, and surrounding area. A mother and child were both in the home at the time, and escaped unharmed."

The Bauer family is devastated with the loss of their home. This family of six, with two parents, two teen daughters and two young sons, needs your help during this traumatic experience. Nobody ever thinks this could happen to their childhood home, their dad's childhood home, their grandpa's childhood home until it does. My parents and 4 siblings who lived at home lost everything, not to mention all my siblings + me, my dad and aunts/uncles, and my grandpa lost the home they grew up in. My grandpa was literally born in that house.

The fire left my family with nothing but the clothes on their back. They are now faced with an overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from nothing and with many, many unanticipated expenses.
