Help Batman Walk Again

Hi, my name is Nicolás, and together with my cousin Felipe, we share our home with many animals we’ve rescued and loved over the years. Six months ago, we adopted a tiny black kitten and named him **Batman**. From the first day, he brought so much joy, energy, and love into our home.

What Happened

Last Saturday morning, I found Batman lying on the grass in our yard, unable to move his legs. I was alone—my family was in Colombia—and I had to rush him to the vet in one of the most stressful moments of my life.

At the clinic, we received devastating news:

Someone had shot Batman in the back.

We still don’t know who did something so cruel, but the damage was life-changing.

His Chances

The vets discovered that, miraculously, his spinal cord wasn’t completely severed. Batman has a **50/50 chance** of being able to walk again. He is only six months old, and even in pain, you can see in his eyes how much he still wants to live, play, and share moments of love.

We decided to go forward with the surgery to give him that chance.

But the procedure, treatment, and recovery are very expensive.
