Hello everyone, my name is Winnielyn and I am a passionate Healthcare Professional and an (accidental) Content Creator on Instagram @healing_w_chronicmigraine. In 2020, I was formally diagnosed with Chronic Migraine, an illness that has been consistently ranked as the second leading cause of disability worldwide.

Ever since I was diagnosed with Chronic Migraine, I had to step down from working full-time as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to working per diem, which for me has been limited to only working weekend shifts. Still, I feel blessed to even be capable enough to work as a per diem PTA as a lot of people who are diagnosed with Chronic Migraine are not able to work due to their debilitating symptoms they live with.

With that being said, this GoFundMe account isn’t actually for me. It’s for our loving and sweet family dog, 14-years-old Batchi. He was initially my older brother’s dog, but now my Mom, who is retired, cares for Batchi. Batchi’s daughter Poochie is my dog, and Batchi naturally gravitates towards me since I give him all the love and attention I can. Lately, Batchi has been experiencing frequent coughing episodes and increased anxiety, such as consistent panting and increasing heart rate. He has several chronic conditions that I helped finance in the past, management of which included surgery. However with these recent symptoms, Batchi will require further and more extensive veterinary care.

Seeing Batchi physically struggle has caused my mom and I sleepless nights, increased stress and affecting our overall health. I was unable to work a few weekends due to sleep deprivation, which triggers my severe migraine attacks.

The financial help from this GoFundMe could help kick start his plan of care, which will likely include wellness exams, blood work and further appropriate diagnostic tests such as X-rays and possibly, surgery. We would greatly appreciate and will be forever grateful for your assistance in contributing to his medical expenses. Every dollar is a big help.
