Help Basil’s with their livelihood

Hello.

This is a very rough time for myself and my family. We weren’t able to apply for CARES Act as it has been suspended in the county where my family and I are living. 

Before COVID-19 hit, my family back home were able to support me every few months with rent/bill payments, but now all their business came to a halt and they haven’t received support from neither the government nor the people they know.

Since we’ve been unable to support ourselves starting about last month, we’ve been struggling to pick up as much as we could from our work and I have been applying to as many jobs as I could, with no results yet (as of October 14th). 

I ask you to kindly donate to this account to try to support us at least through this month and November. We’ve been running dangerously low and trying hard to pay whatever tiny bills we have (phone bills,TV bills, renter’s insurance, doctor’s visits, etc), but we’re behind on our rent. 

Please donate whatever amount you can and share with others, even if you don’t. At least this way, people will know how much suffering and despair this lack of action is causing for us.
