This is Basil. He was the happiest dog, always smiling and jumping around. Unfortunately, I came home from work one day, I noticed he’s limping. A day later, Basil can’t use his left leg anymore...

I took him to the vet. He was diagnosed with a shoulder luxation, which is rare for dogs without any trauma, but the instability of the shoulder is usually common/generic for his breed. I spent nearly 2K on the bandaging and was hoping he can go back to normal after two weeks. But he’s gotten worse, his energy level is lower and he still can’t use his left arm. Poor guy struggles with 3 legs, when he pees, he tumbles :(

Because this surgery is uncommon in small veterinary hospitals, it require a specialist/ certified surgeon to proceed this surgery and that costs me a fortune without an insurance. With the situation of Covid, I’m also recently gotten laid off, paying this bill is an impossible mission for me. However, Basil needs an immediate medical care for his arm, otherwise the chances of him running again is small. 

I love my dog and if you have a pet you will understand how I feel. I have no choice but here to ask for your generous help. Please help Basil to regain his happy life again!! I am appreciated to any of your help, for me to get through this tough time!!!! Thank you !!!

(This is a special surgery that require certified surgeon to proceed. I tried calling two days for a cheaper quote but nobody can help me. It has beenthe most stressing time in my life.)
