Help Basil get well

As you are all aware, I have been through a lot of heartbreak in the past couple of weeks. I lost my 17 year old cat and in honor of her life, I wanted to take in another. That's where Basil comes in. We fell in love with him the instant we saw him and he fell in love with us too. He has been on a rapid decline but with emergency care, he has a chance of pulling through from his pnuemonia. We did budget for a puppy but it has gone far off the deep end to what we were expecting. Any help would be appreciated. No amount is too small.
