Basil is a 4-year-old dog who needs dental treatment for gingivitis to help prevent further periodontal disease progression. It has affected her mood and behavior so much that she’s not the same playful, energetic, and cuddly dog she used to be. She’s no longer interested in toys and becomes territorial over food because it takes her a while to eat due to the pain. She has also become more aggressive with our other dogs and a lot more anxious than normal.

While my family works hard to take care of our 3 dogs, visits to the vet can still be pretty expensive when anesthesia is included due to Basil’s behavioral issues and anxiety. The plan is to raise enough money to set up a primary appointment and go from there. Any help is appreciated to get our princess back to being more comfortable and in less pain.
