MUSTAPHA BASHIR AYODEJI has spent the last few years studying at the University of Ilorin (Unilorin) with one goal in mind: to become a doctor and save lives. As a 300L MBBS student, he was halfway to his dream when life took a devastating turn.
Bashir has been diagnosed with chronic kidney failure. The young man who was starting his journey to learn how to treat others is now a patient himself, fighting for his life and to get back to his dream.
Because of his health challenge, Bashir’s education and dreams have been put on indefinite hold. His days are no longer filled with lectures and textbooks, but with grueling weekly dialysis sessions.
Currently, his family is struggling to keep up with:
