Help Bashar Protect His Home

We need your help. Bashar, a Palestinian olive farmer from the West Bank village of Burin, is living a nightmare of violence and fear. Targeted on all fronts, his family faces relentless settler attacks, military invasions, and devastating damage to their home and livelihood.

Settlers have repeatedly assaulted Bashar, inflicting severe injuries to his skull, arm, and leg that required hospitalization. They’ve destroyed his olive trees—his primary source of income—stolen his harvesting equipment, set his car on fire, and chased his family to their home, shattering windows and forcing them to live in constant fear of further violence.

The Israeli army has turned a blind eye to this brutality. Rather than holding the attackers accountable, soldiers have been complicit in the ongoing settler violence and even invaded Bashar’s land and home, leaving him and his family vulnerable, isolated, and defenseless against further assaults.

Determined to protect his family and their future, Bashar is working to build a fence around his property—a vital barrier against settler violence. This fence is not just a line of defense; it’s a lifeline for Bashar and his loved ones. But the cost of construction and materials—15,000 NIS (roughly 4,000 USD)—is far beyond what Bashar can afford on his own. Any extra money raised will be used to further reinforce the fence.

Your support can help Bashar safeguard his family’s safety and secure their future. Please contribute today to stand with Bashar and his family in this critical moment.
