Help Basanti Kaul Rebuild

Hello, my name is Jon Solove and I am fundraising on behalf of Basanti Kaul, my neighbor, who lost her home and car to the Marshall Fire that completely destroyed the Sagamore neighborhood of Superior, Colorado on December 30th, 2021.

Basanti is known in the neighborhood as a kind woman who loves being with all the neighborhood children, my own kids included. This love of children fueled her passion for teaching, a profession she held for 16 years before retiring to care for her late husband. Now, Basanti still teaches as a substitute.

Donations raised through this GoFundMe will help her to rebuild her life, starting with buying a car to replace the one lost to the fire so that she may continue teaching as a substitute.
