Help Basanta recover and cover medical expenses

On Sunday July 3rd, Basanta Adhikari (age 27) suffered a serious injury and became a victim of crime. He was robbed and badly beaten on the streets around Dallas downtown while celebrating the Independence Day. He suffered skull fracture and dislocated jaw while also suffered bruises and cuts all around his face. Basanta is still in the hospital under treatment and has long ways to make full recovery. He has to go through a jawline surgery however, his head injuries are stabilized and being observed by the neurosurgeons. A police investigation is going on to find the culprit.

Basanta is a student residing in Monroe, Louisiana. He was taken to the ER and was transported by helicopter to Shreveport to get proper treatment. He is currently in Ochsner medical center, Shreveport, Louisiana. According to the doctors, his treatment will take a very long time. Being a student, he is financially incapable to afford his bills as well as the medical bills in the future.

He does not have any family members here in the US so we as his friends are taking care of him.

It would take Basanta at least 6 months to heal physically but those mental scars and Psychological trauma might remain in his mind forever. So any contribution no matter how small will be a massive help and would be highly appreciated. All the fund will be used towards covering Basanta’s medical expenses and his wellbeing.
