Dear friends,

I’m reaching out to you today on behalf of our sweet boy, Bartolomeo. Recently, he was diagnosed with diabetes, and while we’ve been doing everything we can to manage his care, he’s now facing another challenge. Bartolomeo recently injured his left eye, and despite our best efforts, it has become severely infected. Unfortunately, the only way to prevent further infection and alleviate the pain he’s experiencing is through surgery to remove the eye.

Bartolomeo has been part of our family for nine years, a gift from a loving family, and he has always been a source of joy and comfort. However, he doesn’t have pet insurance, and the costs of this surgery—along with the long recovery process ahead—are more than we can manage alone.
