Barry was one of the hardest workers in the command, and the guy with a constant smile on his face. His reputation earned him a spot in Special Operations quickly—not because of luck, but because of his tireless work ethic and commitment to the job.

Beyond the uniform, Barry is a devoted husband and a girl dad to two beautiful young daughters who are his entire world. He is the kind of person you could always count on, whether you were on a job together or just needed a laugh.

Barry faced a series of incredibly difficult circumstances following an off-duty incident where he was struck by a drunk driver. While trying to do what he felt was right in a chaotic moment, he found himself at odds with departmental policies.

After being temporarily reassigned Barry made the heavy decision to resign today to prioritize his future and his family.

As of right now, he is stepping into the unknown without a new position lined up. We want to ensure that his two young daughters and his wife have a safety net while he navigates this transition.

We are looking to raise funds to help cover the family's immediate living expenses so Barry can focus on finding new employment without the crushing weight of financial stress.
