Hi there, my name is Freddie, I am Barry's friend, and I am raising money to help him pay expenses during his treatment.

 

Barry has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer, and even more severely, late-stage bone marrow cancer (multiple myeloma). Barry is in pain, has weakness, and is unable to work during this time.

 

From Barry: "These funds will help my family keep up with copays and living expenses while we are unable to work. I will undergo 1-2 months of chemotherapy and drug treatment for my cancer. The total cost of treatment will be hard to calculate as we see what insurance will cover. Also the treatments may change depending on how well my body responds to each session. I would like for my family to know that no matter what happens, they will have help keeping the bills paid."

 

During difficult times like these, that is when it is important that Barry's extended circle of family, friends, and acquaintances chip in to ease the financial worries that accompany a diagnosis such as this. We want Barry to focus only on healing from the cancer and making a full recovery, not on how the medical bills and mortgage will be paid every month.
