On August 4th, the River Fire destroyed my Father and Grandma's home in Colfax. They lost everything. The Sheriff showed and pounded on the door and said they had to go now. My Dad and Grandma had about 5 minutes to leave. He got his Guitar out, the Dog and some clothes that is all.

Their house was up the hill from the Camp Grounds, so there was no warning besides the Sheriff showing up Sadly there is no Fire insurance on the home due to being dropped.
