MAKE MY BIRTHDAY DREAMS COME TRUE!!! A dog had just come available and I’m in LOVE! See below :)

Barrett: “It’s my birthday and all I really want this year is a new little buddy with a wagging tail!! Let’s be honest, I’ve been wanting a new dog for a few years. Partly because I need another boy in our all-girl house! Even though our plan is to name him “Mr. Darcy” which seems to make the girls swoon.

But mainly because I would absolutely love the joy, companionship, and comfort of a dog. Michelle has not been so sure it’s time. But this past month when I told her it’s all I wanted for my birthday… she said LET’S TALK ABOUT IT! I think it may be because I used emotional manipulation by talking about how hard this year has been for me. But I think it’s actually because she deeply loves me…and secretly wants a dog again too!

Her terms: 1) I find the money (we apparently like “bougie dogs” but have other financial priorities, like paying for our girls to go to school?)… this is where y'all come in! 2) The girls and I commit to take care of the responsibilities of puppy life … which we said we will gladly do! Emma: “He’s so cute!! I want a dog soooo bad!!”

Caroline: “Please help us get this adorable little puppy! We really want a dog because our other dog Zoe died and we have been wanting a new dog ever since! We saw this dog and we think he’s so cute! And it would be so much fun to have a new dog to play with, cuddle with, and love on! It’s also my dad’s birthday this week and this would be a great gift for his birthday and our whole family!”

Michelle: “I made them sign a contract that says they will take the puppy out at night.” :)
