Barrett has been my best buddy since my early 20s, always by my side through every chapter of life. He’s an eight-year-old cutie who loves nothing more than being the center of attention, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and a big heart. His favorite game is being chased around the yard, and he never misses a chance to go on long walks, stopping to sniff every interesting scent along the way. At home, he’s just as happy to curl up for a snuggle or enjoy a good scratch.

Recently, Barrett’s health took a sudden turn. What started as a harmless-looking skin tag on his side grew rapidly overnight, leaving him in pain and struggling to stand. When he didn’t greet me at the door like usual, I knew something was wrong. The vet has recommended urgent surgery to remove the mass and have it biopsied, as its rapid growth could mean it’s cancerous. The cost of the surgery and aftercare is overwhelming, and I want to do everything I can to help Barrett get back to his playful, loving self.
