This is Barney, our four year old gentle giant and best friend. Recently, we found a lump on his chest and after a biopsy, we received the news that he has a mast cell tumor that needs to be surgically removed. His surgery is scheduled for September 10th, and while we’re hopeful that this will be the only treatment he’ll need, the cost of the surgery and post-op care is more than we can comfortably manage on our own.

As many of you know, we have a full house with five dogs, and while we wouldn’t trade that for anything, it comes with its share of expenses.
