Help Barca Austin Academy 2013 Team PLAY IN SPAIN!
Donation protected
Hello, My name is Ann and my son, William plays on the Barca Academy 13 soccer team. They have been invited to play in an international tournament in Cambrils, Spain against some amazing teams from all over Europe at the end of March! They are very excited and as you can imagine, it is very expensive. However, it is a ONCE in a lifetime experience for these boys who just love soccer. Most of these soccer families already pay quite a bit to be in the academy and travel in Texas. This trip to Spain is financially challenging for many of us and we'd like to make sure all the kids can travel without too much stress on the family. Airfare alone is about $2400 for two people. So, I've created this to help as much as possible. ANY MONEY RAISED ON HERE WILL BE SPLIT AMONGST THE PLAYERS. If we go over the player's needs, we will split amongst the escorting family members.
I know most kids sell chocolate bars (at least I did as a kid 40 years ago), wreaths, popcorn..etc.. so at least when you donated you received something. Unfortunately, we don't have anything to give back to you except awesome pictures on FB of them having the time of their lives in Europe playing some of the top youth teams in the world. I hope their smiles can be payment enough... if not - I can surely send you a "Worlds Best Chocolate Bar" if you PM me.. ha ha...
The price per player is $2295. There are 9 players for a total of $20655. This covers the following:
- New kit (uniform)
- 9 hotel nights (Cambrils and Barcelona)
- Full board
- tournament fees
- tickets to FC Barca game and immersive experience
- two cultural events in Barcelona
- Transportation (NOT AIRFARE) in local area
- Coaches and Chaperone costs
