Hi, my name is Jessica Wofford, and I’m fundraising for my dear friend Barbie G. Siquerios Fierro, who suffered a horrifying and violent attack by members of a Mexican cartel.
Barbie is a kind, resilient woman who now faces unimaginable pain, fear, and financial hardship.
Just days ago, she was jumped and beaten so severely that she lost all her teeth and her mouth and jaw were torn. Doctors had to extract several teeth, stitch her lips, jaw, and mouth back together, and start her on strong medications and special care to fight infection. Half her mouth is stitched shut right now, and she’s on a liquid diet, losing weight, and still in significant pain.
On top of that, Barbie had to flee her home and rent a safer place to recover without fear, leaving her deeply in debt.
So far, she has already spent over $1,000 on:
• Emergency urgent care visit
• 4 tooth extractions & oral surgery
• Stitches for her mouth, jaw, and lips
• Medication and additional antibiotics due to infection
• Rent at a safer location
She still has weeks of follow-up care, special cleaning and sanitation supplies for her wounds, more medications, and ongoing dietary needs while she heals — all while being unable to eat or work normally.
We are asking for your help to raise $5,000 to cover her current and ongoing medical bills, medications, special diet, safe housing, and basic needs during her recovery.
Any amount you can give will help Barbie heal physically and emotionally, and start to feel safe again. Please also share this campaign with your friends and family.
On behalf of Barbie, thank you so much for your compassion and generosity.
