Help Barbie Battle the Big C Again

"Barbie McEachern is a fighter! I could tell you the many ways in which my mother has fought every day of her life. I could highlight some of her fiercest battles through the years- a devastating car accident in 1999, homeless in 2002, and death of her mother in 2007.
But instead, I'm going to tell you about her ongoing battle with cancer...
My beautiful mother, Barbie McEachern, has recently been diagnosed with Stage Four Metastatic Breast Cancer in her spine and in her liver.
This disease first attacked in 2013, resulting in the loss of one of her breasts, some of her lymph nodes, and for many months, her hair.  She has worked through her chemo treatments, doing her best to maintain her positive attitude and keep up with her finances.  This warrior prevailed and won round one on February 13th, 2014.  She continued with her doctor's instructions, donated to multiple charities, and was thankful every day that she was alive.
But it's now back for round two with a vengeance and there's no way my Momma is going down without a fight.
However, the struggle of day to day living expenses are creating a larger struggle and adding to her stress level when she should only be focusing on one thing- beating this S.O.B.!!  She is no longer able to work to support herself.  This proud, strong woman is feeling defeated by the need to rely solely on others when she has never needed to before."
- Daughter Ashley McEachern

Plenty to fight for!  Barbie’s new granddaughter arrived early and she looks forward to seeing her for the first time at the wedding of her daughter in May.  With limited resources available, part of the money donated will be used to bring her sister down from Maine to care for her 24/7 like only a sister can!! The continued support from family and friends has been much appreciated and thoughts and prayers are welcome!
Her daughter also set up a fund-raising effort to sell t-shirts and accept donations to assist in her fight.  The link can be found here:

Any donation is sincerely appreciated- THANK YOU
