Help Barber Dave - That ‘50s Barbershop Robbed

Donation protected
In the early morning of February 5, 2020, That 50's Barbershop on Victoria Crescent in downtown Nanaimo was burglarized. Thieves took everything, including money, barber tools, and a lot of the antique figurines and memorabilia that the owner Dave Lawrence spent years and hundreds of dollars collecting to decorate his shop.  This will seriously hamper him from making a living for his family.

Dave does so much for our community, organizing the Fresh Start program each year to provide free hair cuts and school supplies to kids in need and organizing many free community events through the Victoria Cresent Association.  Let’s step up and help him in his time of need! Thank you very much in advance.

If you have any information about this theft, please contact the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at (250) [phone redacted] or Dave directly at [email redacted] or (250) [phone redacted].
