my name is Barbara and I’m 24 year old

I was diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera when I was 12 and I started treatment at 14 yearold.

I have been treating since then and recently I went to my doctor and apparently I need to do all the exams again because the mutation can be changing and that's really risky for me.

As an urgent case me and my family were not prepared for the cost, so that's why I ask any help of you guys, anything will be helpful right now since it may need other exams.

What is polycythemia vera:

Polycythemia vera (PV) is a rare, slow-growing blood cancer where the bone marrow produces too many red blood cells, leading to thicker blood that can cause blood clots, stroke, or heart attack. It also involves an increase in white blood cells and platelets, and can cause symptoms like fatigue, headaches, dizziness, itching, and an enlarged spleen. PV is often caused by a mutation in the JAK2 gene that happens during a person's lifetime.
