Help Barbara Say Goodbye to Her Beloved Husband, Dave

Dear friends, neighbors, and kind-hearted strangers,

We’re reaching out on behalf of our dear neighbor and friend, Barbara Carey, whose husband Dave is currently receiving end-of-life care after months of immense pain and suffering.

Dave and Barbara have been married for 55 years. Barbara has stood by Dave’s side through every challenge, and now she’s facing the heartbreaking task of preparing to say goodbye.

Eight months ago, Dave suffered a serious lumbar fracture in his back. While recovering at home, he tragically fell onto a heater in his sleep, suffering severe burns. His health quickly declined. Gangrene set into his legs, requiring amputation of his toes, and he has since fallen into a comatose state, unresponsive and on morphine for comfort.

Barbara has been incredibly strong, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming.

We’re asking for help to cover funeral and memorial expenses so Barbara doesn’t have to carry this burden alone. Dave and Barbara were the kind of neighbors everyone dreams of: selfless, kind, and always willing to help others.
