My name is Cori my family is reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your help during one of the most difficult times in our lives.

Barbara J. Ridgeway, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and wife, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer, which has tragically spread to her liver and lungs. At just 57 years old, Barbara is in the fight of her life, and the burden—both emotionally and financially—is taking a toll on our entire family.

Due to the severity of her condition, Barbara’s husband, Carl, has had to leave his job in order to care for her full-time. The cost of treatments, medications, travel, and now also preparing for final expenses is more than we can bear alone.

Barbara is a devoted wife to Carl, a mother to Cori and David, a loving grandmother to Jonathan, and the cherished daughter of Suzanne. She is the heart of our family—a woman full of strength, kindness, and love. Seeing her go through this has been unimaginably hard for all of us, but especially for her.

Barbara is a woman full of love, kindness, and generosity. She’s always been the one to make sure others were taken care of, and now it’s time for us to make sure she is taken care of—because she deserves nothing less.
