I am writing this on behalf of my dear friend,

Barbara Kallas. On Good Friday, Barbara heard the news that so many fear…. She was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She was told to schedule an appointment for the Monday after Easter to discuss surgery, chemo, and radiation. Needing to process the news, she asked the doctor to at least give her the weekend to process the information and to break the news to her daughter.

Barbara has chosen life! She has chosen various ways to fight this evil disease but the financial stress is as debilitating as the cancer. She is physically no longer able to work, yet the month-to-month rent, utilities, and day-to-day living expenses are still there. Not to mention the ongoing doctor bills and growing medical expenses. And sooner or later, we all have funeral expenses.

I know Barbara is a proud woman and asking for assistance is the last thing she ever wants to do. Therefore, I am asking on her behalf. Know that you are helping a wonderful, kind, Christian woman that just wants to LIVE her best life while she is still on this earth.
