Barbara, my mom, has always been a hardworking and caring person. For the past 15 years, she has lived with a disability that has made daily life increasingly difficult. Despite her challenges, she has remained strong and independent. Recently, her health took a turn for the worse. While home alone, Mom lost her balance and fell, resulting in a fractured right elbow and nose, along with many scrapes and bruises. Thankfully, she was able to call for help using her life alert system, but the experience has left her even more vulnerable.

Mom also suffers from COPD, which means she can only rest comfortably while sitting up. Unfortunately, because she is right-handed and her right arm is now injured, she can no longer operate her manual recliner on her own. This has made it nearly impossible for her to find comfort or rest without assistance. I want nothing more than to help her regain some independence and comfort during this difficult time. An electric lift chair would enable her to get up and down without assistance and further injuring her arm. However, with a daughter in college , I am unable to provide this on my own.

I am reaching out to ask for help in purchasing an electric lift chair for Mom . This would allow her to rest safely and comfortably, and give her back a bit of the independence she deserves.
