Help Barbara & Andre Recover from Fire Loss

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

On June 25th, tragedy struck my beloved family, when suddenly a devastating fire engulfed my childhood home. Thankfully, we were able to get out safely. Nevertheless, my mom Barbara Jordan and dad Andre Jordan lost everything they owned, including irreplaceable personal and sentimental belongings. We watched over 30 years of memories go up in flames within a matter of seconds. Not quite the birthday celebration my mom anticipated. 

We are seeking support for them as they navigate during the emotional, mental, and physical challenging journey towards rebuilding their home and lives. 

All funds will be used for immediate expenses, such as clothing, temporary housing, and food. 

Barbara and Andre both have served and are currently working for the Department of Corrections for over 30 years accumulatively. Barbara recently retired due to health issues, and Andre is currently out due to severe health issues as well. The decline in health has led to a decline in finances, which in turn left them without homeowners insurance.
