Hello Family, Friends, and Warm Hearts,

It is with deep despair that I have to come on here to share my brother's story.

On July 9th, 2023 I lost my beloved brother, BankBank to an unexpected pulmonary cardiac arrest. My brother was only 18 years old with so much life to live and this has been a very tragic, life-changing experience for me and my entire family.

With already having lost a brother in my younger years, I never once saw the day that I would have to say goodbye to another one this soon. Only leaving me and my mother behind to live this thing called life.

Mekhi also known as 'BankBank' wasn't just my brother, he was a son, cousin, uncle, and so much more to all of us. Most of all, he was my best friend in the whole world, my confidant, and to lose him so suddenly was extremely traumatic. Not being able to see him or hear his laugh devastates me as each day goes by. His goofiness and charisma always grabbed someone's attention, he was my baby boy and will be forever. Mekhi also was my mom's right hand, he worked with her at her small business servicing clients every day since graduation from high school just a year ago. Waking up and not having your child around is heartbreaking, between walking by his bedroom to walking into work and not having him by your side. It's too much for my mother to handle on her own.

In this time of grief, my family and I have been slammed with medical bills, funeral expenses, and a truck BankBank loved so dearly that was left behind. Medical bills & funeral expenses are expensive alone, and as a big sister along with my mom, we've decided to create this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds that will alleviate the financial burden of Mekhi's medical bills and funeral expenses that have accumulated for me and my family.

Any donation no matter how big or small is greatly appreciated and will have an extreme impact on my family, especially my mother. By donating you're supporting my mother who has now lost her second son and daughter who has lost two brothers.
