Help Bandit Walk Again After ACL Surgery

Donation protected
Bandit has always been an energetic and loving companion, but recently he suffered a Cranial Cruciate Ligament Rupture (CCLR), which is similar to an ACL injury in humans. This ligament is crucial for stabilizing the knee, and without it, Bandit has been in a lot of pain and unable to enjoy his favorite activities. Over time, his condition has worsened, and after consulting with our veterinarian, it’s clear that surgery is the only way to restore his mobility and quality of life.

Bandit will be undergoing a TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) procedure, which is the best option for larger dogs like him. The surgery will change the mechanics of his knee to prevent further injury and allow him to walk, run, and jump again. The immediate cost of the surgery and any potential complications are significant. In addition to the surgery, Bandit will need 2-3 months of physical rehabilitation at home. I’ll be taking time off work to help him recover, which will impact my income as I am partially self-employed.

I know times are tough for everyone, and I never imagined I’d be asking for help like this. But every little bit will make a difference for Bandit’s recovery. Your support will help cover the surgery, any unexpected costs, and allow me to focus on helping Bandit heal. Thank you so much for considering a donation or sharing our story. Together, we can get Bandit back on all four paws and enjoying life again.
