I have created this to help my friend Valorie and her family to try and save their dog Bandit who went missing on Friday evening. Bandit was thankfully found early this morning.

So it was quite the scene today. We had the Lakemoor police who went in. The two officers were the ones to initially go in and rescue him. The one Officer actually had spent hours before they ever even had eyes on him just going by his howling. The drone guy and officer were out there since 3am. They located him with the help of the Drone around 5:30 am. Once he was located Then the McHenry fire department and ambulance were also dispatched. They put a John boat in the water over by Harbor lights and they went across the lake and were able to rescue him and then brought him to shore the other two officers trecked back by foot. It was quite the group effort between the Drone and the services to get him rescued. That’s why I would hate for his story to end here. So much was done to save his life that I feel like he should have a chance to live in a little bit more. Money would go towards vet bills and care and any money left would go to a pet charity.
