Hey guys! I’m Eileen and this fundraiser is for my dog Bandit! He is one of the most wholehearted, vibrant, and empathetic dogs out there. He’s 3 1/2 years old and loves nothing more than running, playing fetch, howling at the top of his lungs, but most of all cuddling and caring about his human more than himself! He loves blueberry greenies and getting his jerky treats after going potty!

Recently, on 9/25, he was playing outside and collapsed out of nowhere, screaming in pain. I ran over to him to see what was wrong, thinking maybe he tripped and hurt his paw, but that wasn’t the case. When I tried to pick him up, he had no strength in his back legs and would just cry. I rushed him to my local ER, and they’re still trying to figure out what happened. He’s being seen by a neurologist on 9/26 to fully understand what’s going on.

Our vet bill is already up to $3,000, and that’s just for X-rays, blood work, and a night's stay. There’s talk of FCE in the mix, which is fibrocartilaginous embolism, a spinal injury that can affect one or more limbs due to a neurological issue.

Bandit has gotten me through so much in life; he’s my forever best friend. He’s helped me through a loss that I never would’ve been able to get past without him, and he deserves the best care and life possible. If anyone would help with his medical bills that, at this moment, will be ongoing, we would really appreciate it. If you’ve ever met him, you know the happiness he brings. If you can’t donate, please pray for his recovery and a long, happy life because he deserves it more than you can imagine. I really can’t afford to lose another part of me this year, and any type of help really matters!
