Hi everyone, I’m really struggling to write this, but I need help for my dog, Bamm Bamm. Over the last few days, everything has changed so incredibly quickly. What started as a simple abscess turned into something much more serious, he’s now dealing with severe rectal necrosis after a post surgery anal gland removal. The vets have been honest with me that it’s not looking good, but despite everything, Bamm Bamm is still fighting. He’s still showing the will to live, and as long as he’s fighting, I don’t want to give up on him. Right now, my vet is doing everything they can to help him, and I’m beyond grateful, they’ve even stepped up to try and treat him because I went to two different emergency rooms and have been told even with an attempt to repair this could take a total of 4-6 surgeries and the first one is going to be 10k. And still is not even the extent of what he needs to pull through. Bamm Bamm is more than just a pet to me. He IS my family and has been all I’ve had through some incredibly dark times the past few years. He’s been there for me through so much, and the thought of losing him like this is unbearable. I just want to give him every chance possible while he’s still trying so hard to stay here and fight. He is only going to be 5 June 24.
