Hello everyone,

We are Rebeca and Mik, and this is Bambini, our beloved 12-year-old cat who has been part of Mik´s life since he was a tiny kitten and the world to me for 2 years now.

A few weeks ago, our world was turned upside down. Bambini was diagnosed with fibrosarcoma, one of the most aggressive types of tumors in cats. We acted immediately: he underwent surgery, blood tests, CT scans, and several veterinary consultations. The operation was difficult, and unfortunately, the surgeons could not remove the tumor with completely clean margins. This means that without radiotherapy, the tumor is very likely to return within 1–2 months.

So far, we have spent almost €3000 of our savings on surgery, hospitalization, medication, and diagnostics.

But for Bambini to have a real chance, he urgently needs specialized radiotherapy, which we decided to get in Hungary. Even though it is much more affordable there than in Austria, the total cost is still far beyond what we can manage right now.

The radiotherapy itself, plus weekly trips from Vienna to Kaposvár and back, will cost at least €3500 more.

We do not own a car, and long-term rentals are extremely expensive, so we will need to rent a car for each radiotherapy session, along with paying for fuel and road tolls.

For us, this amount is overwhelming after everything we’ve already paid.

But for Bambini, this treatment is his only real chance — a chance to slow the tumor, prevent it from returning too quickly, and give him more time with us, free of pain and full of life.

Any help — no matter how small — means the world to us.
