One label nearly cost Bam his future. Now we’re fighting to give him the life he deserves.
When we first met Bam, he was living in a kennel — terrified of the world around him. We don’t know what he endured before we arrived. What we do know is that he had been labeled “aggressive.” But within just a few days, it became clear that label couldn’t be further from the truth. Bam is sweet. Bam is playful. Bam craves connection. And Bam deserves a real chance at life.
Once he was given patience and understanding, we saw the dog behind the label — a big ball of love who just wants affection from anyone willing to give it. When Bam needed someone to step up, Jenn Parrish did exactly that. Without hesitation, Jenn took ownership of Bam to ensure he would have a chance at a better life. Bam was saved by a good Samaritan, not a rescue with the resources many organizations have access to. But that doesn’t mean he deserves any less of a chance. That’s why we’re coming together to help.
Bam is currently in boarding where he is safe, but he needs a patient, experienced trainer who can help him decompress, rebuild trust, and guide him toward the stable life he deserves. Bam is also heartworm positive, which means he will need veterinary treatment as well. Between training, boarding, and medical care, the costs add up quickly — but Bam deserves this chance.
Dogs like Bam are often misunderstood and written off. But with patience, guidance, and love, they can become incredible companions.
