Help Baltimore’s Son Stay in LA & Keep His Dreams Alive.
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Robert Lee Hardy. I’m an actor from Baltimore who moved to Los Angeles six years ago to pursue my dream. Like so many in this industry, I’ve faced challenges, but the past year has been especially tough.
I went through the Actors Strike, the Writers Strike, and the hotel strike all at the same time, which meant I wasn’t working for months. Just as things were looking up, I was set to start a new job in January, but the LA fires delayed everything—leaving me in an even tougher spot.
Now, I’ve been dropped by my talent manager, laid off from my job, and I’m facing eviction next week with nowhere to turn. I have no family out here, and despite doing everything I can to stay afloat, I need urgent financial help to make it through this moment.
I’m trying to raise $12,000 by next week to cover rent and basic expenses while I secure new work. This isn’t easy to ask, but I know I’m not alone. If you’re able to donate—no matter the amount—it would mean everything. If you can’t donate, simply sharing this would be just as powerful.
Los Angeles has become my home, and I don’t want to lose everything I’ve worked for. Thank you from the basement of my soul for any help you can give.
With gratitude,
Robert Lee Hardy
